Lawrence Evans
Lawrence is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and the founder of Finance Controlled. He has spent over 13 years with Caldwell Penn, progressing from trainee to Partner and Managing Director, where he has led the firm’s growth and client service strategy.
He now leads the group’s finance function services through Finance Controlled, overseeing delivery across complex and fast-moving client environments.
His move into crypto and Web3 finance came through direct client work, not theory. He built the finance function for World of Women from the ground up, taking wallet activity, invoices and bank statements and converting them into clean, audit-ready financials.
Lawrence established Finance Controlled to give complex businesses access to senior, qualified finance professionals who already understand their environment. He personally selects every team member deployed to a client engagement.
